Budget Golf Balls

The great Jonathan Kew challenged us to solve the famous golf ball puzzle. What happens if you have 12 golf balls and you know that 11 have exactly the same mass but you need to know which one is the odd ball? And, you have a balance that you can only use three times? This video spoils the challenge, so don’t watch it before you think about it.
